Our Team
Our DCF team is comprised of a small group of renowned craftsmen, with a combined 80+ years of experience. We have full time fabricators and finishers on hand to see your project all the way through from start to finish. We handle everything from the conception of an idea, to building, to custom staining and finishing, and installation!
Our History
Distinctive Custom Furniture has been producing the highest quality custom furniture for the last 28 years. It all started out in a small garage in Royal Oak and blossomed into a thriving Oak Park business, where we have been located for the last 23 years. We have built a reputation of exceptional quality amongst the local interior designers in the metro Detroit area, as well as having our work shipped to New York, Chicago, Florida and California!

We Specialize in YOU! Whatever vision or dream you have and haven't been able to find in stores. We build it custom. we have access to any type of hardwoods, exotic to domestic, as well as a full selection of veneers to match. We use a top of the line Valspar finishing system for lacquer and a new product, Rubio Mono Coat, which exceeds all industry standards for durability.
